My name is Dimitar . My wife Aneliya and I are the owners of OGSwideshoes.com. I would like to tell you the story of our company as well as the way our shoes are made.

This is a family owned shoe company. It was originally established in 1934 by my grandfather Dimitar Dudov who dedicated himself to the family business. Lead by his passion for comfortable but also stylish shoes, he graduated from the Shoemakers Academy in Ruse, Bulgaria, where he received his first Masters Certificate. Thereafter he opened a small shoe factory. His first goal was to create shoes available for everyone, ones that would fit to any foot. He devoted his time to hear all of his clients' needs, and he gave his best to make all shoes comfortable, good-looking, and with a quality ensuring his customers' satisfaction. My grandfather's talent was soon recognized by many. In a result, the demand for the shoes increased significantly. His experience showed that great amount of people had special needs and the standardized wooden molds were not suitable for everyone.

For that reason, he started manufacturing shoes for the specific types of feet, putting some extra pieces of leather on the wooden molds at the places where the persons' foot is wider or has bunions. This strategy turns out to be very successful, and many of his satisfied customers bought their shoes continuously from my grandfather.

My dad Yordan Dudov thaught me everything he knew for the business from his father. It is my goal now to fulfill the same duty my grandfather had: to please all my customers by paying attention to vital details.

What does 3X wide width mean?

When you see size 7 3X, it means that on a regular size 7, we put 3 size wider upper. Essentially, the shoes are size 7, but they are as wide as a size 10 while they are still good-looking and stylish.

How do we make these shoes?

We do that the old-fashioned way. They are handcrafted slowly with our full attention on the details and most importantly - with love. We always choose the best quality materials, the finest and softest leather for both the upper and the inside lining. We pay special attention to the lining, and it is always made from the softest leather. Your skin is in constant contact with it; therefore, the lining is very important for your feet comfort. The way we make it prevents feet infusion, sweating, and bad odors. After only a short period of wearing your shoes the genuine leather allows them to stretch only at the necessary places while the leather softens and gets the shape of your foot. So give your shoes some time to become your second skin. The high quality of the shoes, the proper materials and the good maintenance guarantee your complete satisfaction.

Where do we make these shoes?

The place is Bulgaria, Europe. The very same manufactore my grandfather first started. We work with the same dedication and love as he did. Our goal is to offer you shoes that will make you certain in your next purchase from OGS wide shoes. The fact that the shoes are handcrafted results in a great quality, but unfortunately it limits the quantity. Therefore, we apologize if at some point we do not have your size or the style you like. What does OGS stand for?

We named the company after my three daughters Olya, Gabriela, and Sophia. We hope that one of them will continue the family tradition.
